Mulaku (Meemu) Atoll

Only recently opened to tourism Mulaku remains largely unexplored. This groupd of amazing islands is 47km (29 miles) long and 30km (19 miles) wide. Just two of the atoll's 35 islands have been developed into tourists resoets! The rest are uninhabited.
Mulaku offers long streches of barrier reef, interrupted by five dive deep and narrow channels along the northern reef and one wide channel on the east side. The west side features shorter stretches of reef, cut with narrow channels that are best explored during the southwest monsoon season.
